John gives keynote speeches and Powerpoint presentations by Zoom or in-person. Depending on the subject, his presentations last 45 minutes- 1/5hrs plus Q & A. He also has years of experience giving casting demonstrations and casting clinics for shows and clubs. John is available to combine presentations with casting events.

Fishing Presentations

Freshwater-
"Better Casts and Presentations for Trout"- John explains and shows how to control drift speed for surface presentations for speed and depth for sub-surface presentations.

"Seasons on the Alagnak"- It covers the lifecycle and fly fishing for the Pacific salmon, king, sockeye, chum, humpback, and silver. It also covers the habits, locations and fly fishing for Alaskan rainbows, Arctic char, and Arctic grayling. This presentation shows the flies and techniques to catch all these species throughout the season.

"ACA's Beginner's Guide to Fly Casting"- This presentation is about good fundamental mechanics, line control, and how to learn how to become a competent angler. John's book is the official manual of the American Casting Association.
