STRIPED BASS: Sight fishing to small groups and hundreds of schooled fish, all in a pressure-free ecosystem make for a world-class fishery known only by few. Early in the season, expect to see tailing and blitzing fish as striped bass actively feed in a few inches of water. As the season progresses, you’ll encounter large schools of flashing fish, creating incredible opportunities for sight fishing.
BROOK TROUT: Fishing for native sea-run brook trout in the Gaspé often takes you deep into the backcountry, exploring remote stretches of water far off the beaten path. This experience is not for the faint of heart, but the effort is well worth it—many anglers liken it to the wild, clear water fishing found in New Zealand.
ATLANTIC SALMON: Atlantic salmon fishing offers not only the thrill of the catch, but also a deep connection with nature and a sense of heritage, making it a prized species to target for anglers seeking adventure and challenge in unspoiled river environments.
